When my grandmother passed away six years ago, my dad's cousin made a memorial wreath for the family. It was a large grape vine wreath, decorated with some of her favorite flowers and colors, interspersed with the flowers and ribbons were objects that represented my grandmother. She included, among other things, thread and a crochet hook, a small new testament (because a big Bible wouldn't fit), a sewing pattern, some small gardening tools, possibly a cardinal (her favorite bird) and a couple of other things that escape my memory right now. The wreath now hangs at my parent's house and I don't have a picture of it here on this computer.
But I write this down, first of all as a memory of mine, but also to ask, what might be on your memorial wreath?
